Hello everyone! My name is Brooke Hudgins. I began taking modeling lessons from Mrs. Donna as soon as I was able to walk. I grew up in the studio and recently began coaching. Growing up in the studio not only taught me how to strut my stuff, it taught me valuable life lessons that I apply to every aspect of life. I am so thankful to be a part of the most prestigious studio in the group. The thing that sets Donna's Studio apart is the fact that students are not only taught how to model, they are taught how to be a strong, independent adult.
Last weekend I attended Southern Dazzling Belles, and as I sat and watched the competition I became overwhelmed with pride because the contestants who were a part of the strutter family carried themselves with such grace. I saw the strutters be so kind to everyone they came into contact with, even when others were not being so kind. They went against the crowd and made sure to be kind to everyone-not just the other strutters. It is my hope that I, as a coach, can teach my students to stand up for what is right, even if they have to stand alone. It is not right to be mean to your competitor. Yes pageants revolve around competition, but pageants are also about making lifelong friendships.
I am so proud to be a part of this prestigious studio. The students of Donna's Studio soar above the crowd because they know that pageants are not only about winning a crown. I love each and every single one of you. Thank you for standing up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone. Always remember that if you don't bring a crown home from a pageant, bring home a friend, and ALWAYS let God's light shine through you. Pageants aren't just a competition… they are a place to grow.
Love,
Miss Brooke
